Explore the breathtaking alien world of Adelpha, support the local Talans in their struggles and fight your way through fast-paced battles against invading robot forces in this 3rd-person, open world, action adventure sequel to the 1999 cult classic.

Working on Outcast 2 on Quests was incredibly rewarding. I polished and reworked engaging missions that enriched the game’s lore and characters in villages.
Collaborating closely with the team, I balanced combat, pacing and narrative to create diverse and immersive experiences.

The polished quests provided a significantly better player experience and greatly reduced frustration.

I also worked a lot on improving the pacing and the overall quality of life of the game by carefully adjusting enemies, level design, UI & player guidance.
I did my best to keep the gameplay dynamic and cohesive.

After post-production, the game became significantly more enjoyable thanks to a clearer HUD and improved features.
Improve Guidance & Tutorials
I focused heavily on designing guidance and tutorials throughout the game. Subtle player instruction is essential, ensuring players learn mechanics without feeling explicitly taught, especially for our casual target audience.

​By lightening and restructuring the tutorials to better align with player progression, we observed a significant improvement in players’ understanding of the game’s mechanics during playtests.


Working on the Open-world
We worked hard to showcase the engaging and immersive world of Adelpha, creating fun activities, exciting combat, and surprising elements to captivate players.

Ultimately, the open-world activities became clearer, with more engaging rewards for players.
